Soda....in the south. Pop....where they dont know its called "soda". Lol It was explained to me like this..... Back when they became popular, they were called "soda pop". Also back in the day, you had "soda jerks" , referring to the guy or girl , who prepared your "soda" in the soda shops. The "jerk" referring to the lever they pulled, or "jerked" to fill the container. We call em "floats" today in the south... But in truth, both "soda" & "pop" came from the same product...sort of. Totally depends on where you are , as to what its called, but a Soda Pop is the same thing . Just a few generations after the "soda" shop gave way to "coolers".. We've all seen the old Coca Cola coolers .. When I was young, you raised the lid, grabbed a cold Cola . That gave way to the vending machines that we still see today. Although , today you pay 2 bucks for bottled water with your Credit/Debit card. When I was young, you got an 8 oz bottle of Coka Cola for a quater. Or less... Way too much info, I know. But there it is..

I subscribed A while back learned a lot about farming that I have been wondering we had A small family "farm" 100 acres most was rented out to bigger farmers my dad took me to visit one was amazed at their shop and amount of equipment and support equipment at the time I thought that they were "RICH" people

I grew up on a farm in the 50's & 60's. Worked for many area farmers & loved it. Things have changed so much it is fascinating to see the equipment of today, the technology being used & all the equipment we didn't have back then. I have to laugh at the ridiculous comment Michael Bloomberg made about how simple it is to be a farmer!

Just a little bit of information about the Australian shepherd, "Dige". The breed was developed in the United states in the early 20th century. Don't know how it was named "Australian shepherd ". I guess I could just Google it. Dige doesn't like the cold weather and it doesn't have any connection to the Australian part of the breed name. Probably just a smart dog.

This is my dream have big piece of land aka farm and grow all types of delicious fruits,vegetables,herbs& 🐄 🐎 🐔 donkey and 2 oh 3 dogs ... What's cool all my seeds for my vegetables and fruits and my herbs are from my Island Puerto Rico ... I already have papayas,guavas,passion fruits,🍋 limes and longan fruit and lychee fruit also have cocoa tress avocado i have Cuban oregano i have cilantro and culantro ❤green peppers and loungers they look like peas in Spanish we called them gandules we normally use it for are famous yellow rice is good also got orange tree and grapefruit and all this is in my garden well i took over my yard and my neighbors lol it's all open fenced up so i ask my landlord he say go for it and it's cool in the summer my landlord and neighbors normally come get so herb oh fruit oh veggies and i keep it so clean and nice grass cut and green i make sure i cut all the dry branches from every tree i also move the dirt around make sure trees are growing straight and healthy my husband goes buys me dirt good one cow manure and other type i mix them well and then put fresh dirt and mix it and spread it as perfect then water it good i live in Florida so it's hot and it gets cold for like 2 oh 3 months so i have to take care of my plants more .... Now im working on lavender and rosemary, mint, and im growing 3 pineapple that's why i told my husband in 3 to 4yrs we should save enough to get big piece of land and make it to a farm and also sell some of my juices and sweets and food everything be freshly homemade ..... Well once i get my farm together i be asking yah for advice to learn about machinery and when to grow corn ... I be starting my own IRmys channel but it's with a twist lol

As kids in the 80’s when combining in usually late November, we kids, including cousins were thrown in the combines and each combine given a straw broom. Every quarter mile we had to stop get out crawl in back of combine and use broom to push snow through sieves and sweep snow out of inside combine. Yep when it snowed 13 year olds got to combine corn. Did I forget to mention that heaters weren’t the best in 70s combines...
